But when it matters, Annama stays.

They don’t make each other perfect.
They make each other braver.

He’s an expert. Probably.
Annama is remarkably confident about things he has never seen before.

Everything might be food.
A lantern? Possibly food.
A mysterious object? Worth investigating
— preferably with his mouth.

One new word at a time.
Wherever they travel, Annama learns a word in the local language. His first attempt is often… creative.

Long before Annama ever came to life,
